Fundraising & Development

Having a passion for adaptive arts & recreation, I took my Fundraising for the Arts class as an opportunity to, once again, combine that with fundraising skills. This development plan for Youth Challenge (although hypothetical) was crafted with the help of CEO Chris Garr.

My Grant Proposal Writing class at BW allowed me to work directly with a team of other students (and an Executive Artistic Director) to craft a grant proposal for assistive technology. The Jacket Philanthropy Program awarded TCT $2,000 for this project to make their productions more accessible.

To help Kaboom with their end-of-year fundraising efforts, I compiled 100+ donor appeal letters (including complimentary stickers!) to be sent out across Northeast Ohio and beyond. Some of the less "creative" work of development, but meaningful nonetheless!
