In 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to apply, audition, and be selected for a cohort of young, thoughtful students (ages 14-20) to present at Illuminate, TEDxYouth Dayton's eighth event of its kind. In the talk, I share my experiences and ideas surrounding what music - and the community it creates - can do to make a bigger impact in our world.
Special thanks to TEDxYouth@Dayton organizer Bryan Lakatos, as well as mentor Diane Bengson.
What started as a simple passion project among fans is now my first entrepreneurial venture as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit! DMFC exists to create an affirming platform for music consumers of all abilities while encouraging accessibility efforts across all sectors of the music business.
